Self help Audio Book on Overcoming Fears

Author: Paul Simari

Most people have certain fears. Some people are afraid of certain animals – snakes, spiders, mice. Others are afraid of water or heights or bridges. I never had any fears, until a year ago, when I was involved in a major car accident. It wasn’t my fault – the driver in the other car had fallen asleep and hit me head on. We both suffered pretty serious injuries – I broke my leg and walked with crutches for eight months, while the driver of the other car broke four ribs and lost partial eyesight in his left eye.

Since then, my physical injuries have all fully healed. But my most devastating injury was mentally – I have been unable to return into an automobile since the accident. I received a significant case settlement after the accident (0,000), so returning to work right away was not a priority. But not being able to drive was impacting my life in other ways – I could not drive to or pick up my three sons from school or from their sports practices, I couldn’t go shopping, couldn’t drive to the bank – couldn’t do anything a housewife is supposed to be able to do.

One day last week, one of my sons returned home from school and told me about how one of his teachers was telling the class about how she was able to overcome her fear of large dogs by listening to an audio book. I immediately contacted the teacher, and she told me about how she purchased an audio book online that was able to completely free her of her fear of canines through hypnotism.

I was somewhat skeptical, but decided to give it a try. I listened to the tape, and it instructed me to lay down in a quiet room and close my eyes. The tape was over in 45 minutes, and when I opened my eyes, I couldn’t believe how fast the time had dissapeared. I had surely been hypnotized.

Now came the real test. I grabbed my car keys – they had been sitting in the same spot in the bottom drawer underneath my socks for the last year. As I walked outside towards my car, I still had a little fear, but my audio books gave me the strength to open the door, sit down, start the car and drive up and down my street! Since then, I have completely overcome my fear of driving, and am back to the same way I was before the accident – all thanks to my audio book!

Has anyone any experience of being charged over£200 for gcse exams?
My child was accepted into an Independent school of my faith on a charitable basis because of our circumstances, similar to an assisted place I suppose.
This was owing to extreme family mental ill health and was crucial to improving a serious situation. Our only income now after working the major part of our lives is from benefits as I am a full time carer . This amazing school admits children with special circumstances such as bullying or autism and nurtures them with love and devotion back to having confidence and self esteem. .
Approximately half or more of the pupils are not even of that faith but are there due to some trauma in life needing rectification, very often previously occurring in a large state school.. Dedicated staff have assisted us to achieve a very different outcome from what might have been.I therefore find it immoral that regardless of a family’s circumstances or reasons for placing a vulnerable child here to achieve a positive outcome the government having taken taxes once then takes again ! This from people already in fuel poverty, poor health and in a caring situation. These remarkable schools are solely supported by parents struggling to continuously raise funds for equipment, desks, rent, books the whole works!
As a family we are refused help with transport “you chose to put your child in a faith school” this is the frequent and somewhat hostile quote I receive from the local authority and government agencys whenever I futilely ask for any form of aid
We recently discovered we have to also pay over £200 for GCSE exams and books with no assistance for uniform, meals or transport either.Reasons for putting your child there are not taken into account, neither your income, health nor the fact you are trying to mend a situation which in the long term benefits everyone. So where does that money go?I have paid into the system all my life as has my husband only to be told “you will get no help because you put your child in a faith school”repeatedly.Does anyone know if the European court of Human Rights would be worth addressing as our government keep on doing this to certain parts of the community and I feel it is discriminatory on grounds of faith and health?Thank you to all who take time to read my rather long plea!

No, it has not happened to me, but I think it is unjust… perhaps the European court of Human Rights will help you… go ahead and try to address it… Good luck to you!
