Where is a good place to discuss ways of making money?
Is there a good self help forum that I can find to meet people that want to change their mindset to attain wealth and prosperity?

Is there a self-betterment forum that anyone knows about?
Over the course of a few months I’ve been going through some rough spots in my personality. While a putative victory over one of my faults is all nice and great, I still need help with my mentality.
I’m very bitter, egotistical, angry, self-conscious, envious, and petty. I know what it takes to be happy but I cannot discipline myself effectively to keep my mind above arbitrary worldly problems. I would like to discuss this in a forum somewhere, but I do not know of such a place.
Do any of you?
In the end forums and all can only do so much…you need to take control of your own life. However, it’s wonderful that you can recognize your faults. Sometimes we become people we aren’t proud of, and that’s normal. Counselors and friends help a lot; maybe it doesn’t seem like they will, bu they do.

What are good forums to use when making a roleplaying site?
I’m interested in making a role playing forum. The problem is, is that I don’t know what kind of forums to use. I’ve had experience with some forums, but I want a good one, not one I have to pay for like vBulletin, I also don’t want to have to download anything and want mods within the forum it’s self. Are there any forums like this out there? Please help?
As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your forum website: 1- Buy a domain name. To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name.
If you’re going to create a forum site at your own domain without any forced ads, you need a web host providing forum tools (phpbb or vbulletin).

Should there be a self-help subcategory added to the Psychology category?
Everytime I come to answer some questions in the Psych category, there is always at least 3 people with questions saying “oh I’m so depressed” or “How can I be more confident?”. Quite frankly I find these questions obnoxious. I think they are a distraction from discussing much more interesting topics in the psych field.
Because of this, I think a Self-Help sub-forum should be added. Am I right on this?
I dont know, I think psychology can do a good job fighting this kind of mental distress …. that is clinical/positive psychology after all …..

AVG safesearch has decided to take over my Firefox?
Somehow, my AVG automatically installed an update to it, which patched over my firefox with two separate add-ons, all without my permission. I was able to get rid of the toolbar, and it said I removed the safesearch, but whenever I use the address bar to search for something, it takes me to the yahoo safesearch page. AVG gave a fix on their forums, but it didn’t do anything (like a good self-moderated forum should.) Help please?
