Twelve Self Motivation Tips – Part 2
These 12 motivation is a continuation from part 1. Click here to read part 1Self Motivation Tip #7:
Get to know yourself. Question your self motivation. What are your values? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Is self motivation realized by focusing on your strengths? What motivates you? What de-motivates you? Self motivation questions your fears and limitations? How can you overcome them? What are your ineffective habits? What effective habits can replace them? Dig deep and answer these questions honestly as they relate to self motivation.
Self Motivation Tip #8:
Set aside some quiet time just for yourself everyday. Set a time to reflect on self motivation. I once took a day off work and gave myself 24 hours to write down everything I wanted to be, to do and to have. I decided nothing was impossible and there were no barriers. I imagined how my life would be affected if everything I wrote on that paper came true. Consequently, if I didn’t write in all down in 24 hours, nothing in my life would change. I would be closing the door on self motivation. Now it is 30 years later and I have accomplished most of my dreams and goals that I penned all those years ago. I exercise self motivation every day.
Self Motivation Tip #9:
Self motivation is knowing where you want to go and what you want to achieve. It is very unlikely you will enjoy success without self motivation. Success is the progressive realization of a goal and a dream. However, it is only a dream unless it is in print. Crystallization of a dream begins with writing it on paper. Write everything from the inside-out imagining nothing is impossible. Self motivation has no barriers, no limitations, and no fears. Group, categorize and prioritize all of your dreams and learn the secret to enhanced self motivation.
Self Motivation Tip #10:
Review your list of dreams often. Make it a daily habit. Dreams are the foundation to self motivation and must be written, planned, visualized and put into action. Prioritize your dreams and determine the price you are willing to pay to make your dreams a reality. The price could be effort, time, education, etc. If this form of self motivation does not appeal to you, revisit your priorities.
Self motivation Tip #11:
Part of self motivation is knowing what you want to do and creating an action plan for success. Keep each action point simple, so it can be accomplished. Large tasks usually get shelved, so minimize them. When your action plan is ready for implementation, commit to doing it by signing your name to it. Your signature should be the strongest commitment to yourself.
Self motivation Tip #12:
Take action. Self motivation is the actual doing. Thinking leads to procrastination, so stop thinking, just do it! The worst outcome is failure. You already know that you have to fail often to succeed once. Give yourself permission to have learning opportunities which usually transpire by doing and failing. You will need to employ all 12 self motivation tips if success is in your foreseeable future.

Instructions or websites on self-exciting induction motor please?
I am working on creating a self-exciting induction motor. I realize that this is unconventional enterprise. Please help me by giving me some pointers.
I believe that the only sense in which an induction motor can be self-exciting is when operated as an induction generator.

How to control weeds/scrub/brush cheaply in Pampaga in the Philippines…..?
My in-laws (in their late 60s) own an orchard in one of the brngys of Floridablanca and now coz of their age and lack of funds have an impossible task of keeping “scrub”under control on their life saving (approx) 2-3 Acre property. They were almost managing when a young relative was working for a pittance with a brush-cutter 9-5 but that ended. My father-in-law could not afford anyone else-even though he now worked in the US.He installed a sub-surface watering system to all the fruit trees and wasted (?) all of his savings on the watering system and planting Mango trees-in my opinion not much profit in that-but now the orchard is over-run by scrub/weeds/brush and etc. While I was there I thought of many solutions but they are not affordable by them (nor by me)..I thought of Glyphosate but they would need 100′s of litres.Even in desperation I thought of hiring a flame thrower(if available) to “cut&burn”/ “slash& burn” but then the fruit trees would burn too.The scrub/weeds/brush are now over 5-6 ft high.My in-laws don’t know about mulching and won’t even think of it.Surely there must be a free service available to people like them for advice in order to survive.Since I am a “foreigner”my advice is ignored.I’ve suggested many fruits and vegetables that will grow over there and fetch a good price (better than the over-abundant Mangoes & etc.) but they all need to be fertilized in order to be outstanding from the rest.I have a lot more to add but as is this is already too much for anyone to take serious note of.Thank you for all advice.
Ps.So sorry but obviously what I wrote is so misunderstood. My In-Laws are so poor!My F-in’-Law works in the US as a Plumber when he is healthy and my Mom-in-Law only makes money by selling ice, rice and nothing much else except the fruits from the Orchard which might be a full Hectare or more–I cant tell and they don’t know..By “Free Service”I meant advice from Gov’t Agro Advice Bureaus or smthng.Had I a spare AU$5,000-10,000 I certainly could turn that orchard into a productive and self- sufficient enterprise.Lets just start by getting rid off the huge scub/weeds.brush.They are more or less broke…Worst of all I/nor my wife can help with anything more than eg.AU$50/mnth.My wife is there now and I am here in Melb.AU.Forget about putting in Goats! They will eat everything in sight including the fruit tree-barks,any low hanging branches and the younger tree trunks as well.We had goats in Europe when I was very young. If it is left like that they will lose whatever little llivelihoodthey can manage from selling a few kilos of fruit.Thank you all again
You could let pigs, ducks, and chickens roam through the orchards. They will eat all those bushes and weeds, and fertilize your trees as well.
I`ve contracted a computer virus and I can`t combat it.?
I`ve contracted some kind of virus. An ad keeps popping up saying that a treat has been detected, “trojan”. It calls it`s self “Enterprise Defender” So I click on the link and it wants me to subscribe to some antivirus program. I tried a program that was already on my computer but it wouldn`t take it away, (Spybot). I asked Yahoo and many of you recomended AVG. I tried to download it but it wouldn`t let me. I then went to my work and E- mailed AVG to myself, I put it on my desktop and tried to open it and it wont open it. Is that virus keeping me from getting rid of it? What next? Help Mark
most type of virus will block any anti virus that installed on your computer.your anti virus mus be updated.ok i have a idea to remove ur virus.first go to start->run type cmd then a black box will appear.there type @echo off then press enter.now type cls then hit enter again, the box will empty then type tasklist then hit enter if you find something strange kill that processes by pressing taskkill /f /im `name of the program’ NOTE:if the virus overwrite most of your programs like explorer that will be a big deal for u then check whether you registry editor
or task manager blocked or not.
Aren’t there striking resemblances between Christianity and self help principles?
“Self Help is an enterprise wherein people holding the thinnest of credentials diagnose in basically normal people symptoms of inflated or invented maladies, so that they may then implement remedies that have never been shown to work.” –Steve Salerno
It seems they are one in the same.
Hypno Toad – Good point, and it’s built into the manipulation system, it’s stronger that way
ha’yim – Not all your beloved morals are borrowed from some sky dad……..
*facepalm* Why do you people continue to say that….
I think one difference is that when the remedy doesn’t work, people are willing to blame the self-help book’s advice, but when the bible is inadequate, they blame themselves instead.
What is the name of that Star Trek The Next Generation episode?
The one where the enterprise comes upon a hole in space. Completely void of matter AND energy? They find out that a god like being has trapped them in a laboratory experiment, and only finally lets them go after captain Picard begins the self destruct sequence on the Enterprise. Any information helps.
