    Hi,

Where to find continuous Web Development tutorials?
I’m trying to self teach web development, however I get so far and I get stuck. I’ve read loads of tutorials and I’ve even bought and watched total training videos on HTML and CSS but I still seem to hit the same brick wall. I understand forms, divs, css etc, but it isn’t enough to feel competent creating my own websites (at least not good ones with columns and a solid layout etc) so I was wondering where I could turn to get a solid tutorial that will help me get off the ground

    Thanks!

If you haven’t gone through the lynda.com tutorial videos, both essential and advance, then I definitely suggest you go through those. As they are pretty much what you are looking for.

If you have already watched them all and done all the exercise modules, then the only thing left is to start on what you would consider a good site. Don’t develop it for anybody, just yourself. That way you can take you time and learn what you don’t know.

Playing around with code and script, testing out techniques and theories is the best way to go. Repetition and experiment is how the good designers get good.

You can’t succeed greatly if you’re afraid to fail greatly.
