I takes a look at general career weaknesses and looks to strengthen them. It is also a way of building upon management techniques and ways of looking for others needs for development.

Personal development is in much the same as career development but in a more personal way to you.

Objective views, constructive criticism are all part of development

Personal learning & self development indisputably contribute greatly to one’s sense of self, awareness of others, and increased self confidence. I believe this leads to an open heart and happiness. These qualities, whether voluntarily or otherwise, one transforms to others, consciously or otherwise.

So Do well for you; do well for all human beings.

      Good luck with your assignment.

You may be able to but I wouldn’t want to try to do it. For professional development you have goals to attain in a certain time frame, you have certain criteria to meet for things and it’s done in an eight hour day. Personal development is an on going thing that needs to have flexibility built into it, life doesn’t always take us in a straight route to where we want to go, there may be detours and we have to be ready to take them or get completely derailed. Professionally you learn to bridge detours, you can’t afford to take the long way around. Personally it may be the best way to get there.

I want to be a professional writer in the personal development field like jack Canfield and Antony Robbins.
I believe that people will not trust me if I am not holding a certificate or a degree which will make me qualified for writing in the subject .

Professional writers often hold degrees in language(English) or communications or journalism. For your specific field, you might consider a degree in psychology as well.

Hummm! Sounds like HR has dreamt up another torture for workers or you have to come up with BS for your business Adm. degree. Personal: a balanced life, good relations with co workers in and out of work, no drama at home, many friends, healthful practices, good grooming at home, good financial condition, no drug use, no addictions, many outside interests

Professional: quest for more knowledge of the company, good team player, respect for superiors, adherence to main goals of the company, desire to advance, quest for more education to enhance performance, readiness and enthusiasm to perform to the highest degree, total loyalty, ability to read all new corporate papers, ability to learn the constant new computer programs, no matter how ridiculous the developers have created these beastly things, open mindedness, friendly spirit towards new and younger employees with fresh ideas, proper time routine, never tardy, willingness to take on new tasks, willingness to participate in company outdoor exercises such as, I forgot the term, weekend retreats.
