Positive Thinking – Redirecting Your Thoughts

Positive thinking can be an almost insurmountable goal when you have had a really tough day. If you are like most people, such days begin harmlessly enough, and things get progressively worse as the day wears on, until you are wondering when the day will end. Practicing the art of positive thinking is the farthest thing from your mind.However, you can benefit from the effects of positive thinking by practicing putting a positive spin on all of the negative things affecting your life daily. When it seems as though your whole day is being ruined by a string of negative events, and you are allowing all this to overwhelm you, that is when you can most benefit from positive thinking activities.
The key is not to let these unpleasant events consume your energy and life. You must learn to redirect the negative thoughts that result in accordance with a “bad day” into positive thoughts. Whenever you find yourself spiraling down into the pit of self pity and despair, concentrate on using the art of positive thinking to overcome your situation. It is easy to succumb to your negative thoughts when you are going through a difficult or trying time.
For example, perhaps you are concentrating so much on all the small things that go wrong at work that you forget about all the accolades and compliments that are normally the mainstay of your job. So what if you had a bad day or two, you must learn to focus on all the positive aspects that are a larger part of the scheme. Once you learn this, you can really experience the gratifying effects of positive thinking.
Here’s three tips on how to concentrate on being positive in any situation.
1. Always keep your cool and examine the situation you are in. In any situation you are in, know that there is a better way out.
2. When things have gone bad, and you realize that it could have been worse. Find out how and why it happen that way.
3. Finally, believe in the law of reciprocations. Know that whatever good you do, it will come back 100 times better than what you thought it would be.
As you go through life on a daily basis, you must stop and re-evaluate the situation if you find yourself thinking negatively. You must then redirect and channel your energy into positive thinking.
Once you learn to automatically implement this change of thought pattern, you will notice that your entire outlook on life improves. So go ahead and put the theory into practice, and you will soon master the art of positive thinking.

Positive thoughts for a new work day?
When I rise at the morning out of my bed, I always think “Uugh, I will see all these stupid faces again, I must take all their stupid talking, I’ll have to take stupid orders from my boss, I will work till my arms and legs hurt…” what do you think should I think at the morning to make me go to work with a smile, what am I supposed to think when my boss is waiting for me with stupid tasks, what can I tell my co-workers who are in bad mood, too during the day to lighten them up and to ease their frustration.
Please help me.
Think of the future.. I was once in your shoes, learned all I could at my job.. Broke off and started my own company competitive to the one that I worked for.
I now blow them out of the water in terms of clientele because I learned what not to do by watching and making mistakes at their expense. So I came into my own company with a ton of trial and error experience that otherwise would have taken me years to learn.
Keep in mind, that this is just a path to something greater, and one day you will not have to get out of bed until you want to
Do u think you could control your mind from thinking any inappropriate thoughts for one full day or too hard?
Well, I asked a rather fascinating question yesterday. One of my best yet. My question was ‘how many inappropriate thoughts do you have in the average day?’ I didn’t expect to see the types of answers I did, how just about everyone had an inappropriate thought for the day and every few minutes. Now, my question is do u think you could control your inappropriate thoughts and just think clean, positive thoughts for a full day for like a whole bunch of money. Ya know those thoughts that seem to get in your head ‘Wow! I just got married. I am so happy. Ugh! His nose is shaped weird. What if I divorced him in like two days.” / “Oh grandma is so sweet. I could easily punch her out. Omg! Don’t think that.” and all that other stuff, whether it’s racist, insulting, dirty, etc. Do u think you’d be able to control your mind from thinking it for a day
I haven’t got a hope, I can hold my breath longer than that I could possibly refrain from inappropriate thoughts.
Then again I can hold on to an inappropriate thought for a long, long time really milking it with a happy smile. ( Usually dirty ).
is it possible for a home pregnancy test to show a positive result within 2 days of possible conception? ?
We took a pregnancy test and it came out as positive (it was an equate pregnancy test). The only tablets we are taking are pre-natal vitamins. However, reading everywhere, it seems that getting a positive 2 days after possible conception date is next to impossible and most tests would show results only closer to the period date – around 2 weeks from conception. Are we missing something? We of course will do another pregnancy test in a couple of days.. Thoughts?
Well if by conception you mean implantation, then, it is possible to have positive within 2 days after “implantation” (which can take 4-10 days after egg is fertilized).
if by conception, you mean date you last had sex and probably fertilized the egg, then it is not possible. then you are probably wrong on your date of conception. maybe you ovulated earlier than you thought and had already gotten lucky with your earlier tries. HcG hormone is only detectable in urine after implantation has happened and that too only couple of days afterwards.
It is possible to have a very faint positive as early as 9dpo/10dpo (so 9-10 days after conception) with early HPT tests, or 7 days with blood test (assuming implantation happened early).
btw, if you were undergoing fertility treatments and had an hcG trigger shot, that could also give you false positive 2 days after ovulation. hopefully that is not the case.

What positive thoughts can I think of throughout the day when people keep commenting on my plentiful clothes?
at work? I work as a medical secretary in a private hospital. I take great pride in my appearance. I am very shy by nature and find that when I dress well, fashionable, impeccable and polished I feel more confident. I only get my clothes from Primark and spend between £1 and £15 per article of clothing. I can proudly say I have an eye for fashion and know how to dress. Sometimes I buy clothes from charity shops and they look good quality when worn. However, other secs in my workplace make comments to me like, “You’ve got so many clothes”. Deep down I know it is no one’s business how I dress, etc, as it’s nothing to do with them what I do. However, I feel sensitive about these comments and I often get looked up and down. How can I think in a way that will benefit my confidence by dressing nicely? I find it hard not to take people’s comments to heart.
Denise: I feel disappointed that you feel my question is to ‘show off’. Believe me it is NOT. You have no idea how inferior and insecure I feel on a day to day basis at work. Obviously, also, you have no idea what it’s like to have to dress up just to feel accepted and confident.
Enjoy the way you look! Those that criticize you are, more likely than not, jealous.
Maybe they can’t afford it; maybe they wish they could and insulting you is their way of compensating. Maybe they have expenses that prevent them from that.
You should feel complemented about getting “looked up and down”. Obviously, you’re envied by them; maybe even jealous of you? Maybe they have more expenses and don’t have the money to spend on clothes like you do and resent that a bit?…or a lot!
Don’t let anybody get you down, or drag you down. You are who you are and don’t let that go.

I need a song that starts off my day, that inspires good feelings and thoughts, knowing I can make it through the obstacles and everything is going to be ok at the end of the day, I like all genres of music so any song that inspires that is fine.
