how has computer technology influence the development of personal and home secuity products?
how have these products improved over the years

I would think that the centralized reporting has improved due to computerization. Before, you would just hear an alarm going off. Now, the security company knows exactly where the alarm was tripped and can notify you via phone, email, IM and pager.

Is it better to stay at home or travel 2 hours from London to Oxford several days a week?
I”ve applied to Oxford brookes university, my problem is, at home I can have whatever I want, whatever I need, whenever i need. But living away from home means being independent and a hude deal for me for personal development.

Do i stay at home or not? please help! i’m a bit paranoid now, panicking to be honest.

Without a doubt I’d say live in Oxford. It seems that a lot of people who have answered this question above appear to be American and you have to realise that their system and expenses are very different to ours. In our country HARDLY ANYONE at university lives at home with most people spending the first year in the halls of residence. For you to have to pack up each day and go home after classes will means you won’t be able to do anything like hang out in the student union or go off to some of the student clubs at night. It will greatly impair your ability to make friends and really get the most out of university if you live at home.

Plus there really is no reason to be worried about living away from home. You’ll have to do it sometime you know! Being away at university really isn’t the same as living completely on your own. You don’t have a whole host of bills to pay, mostly just rent, the canteen in the halls of residence will cook your meals for you if you want it to, students rarely worry about doing housework, etc. To be honest, if you really can’t live away from home at 18 it might be worth taking a gap year and maturing a bit first.

Also, I went to Oxford (the main university, not Brookes) and the drive from Oxford to London has the ability to double in time some days if the M25 gets in a state. I certainly wouldn’t want to do it on a regular basis!

Please share your top 5 personal home hair care concerns?

Do you struggle? or have you struggled in some way with our hair?”
A professional hair stylist like myself is inquisitive, and would like to know more about individuals needs.

No matter what your ethnicity, all questions are welcome.
No, question is stupid! Personal development is what I call it.

Maybe it is about what products are good for our hair texture?
Is it about name brand products vs. store store brands?
Knowing when to cut your hair, an understating why it is good for your hair?
Is it about a style, you want. Are you not sure if the style will suit you?
Are you interested in changing your look to suit your age and/ or professional style?
Is it over processed due to chemicals but you are addicted to color or hair relaxers?
Hair extensions, which one is best for your hair texture? Do the really help with promoting hair growth?
For me to respond you email must be accessible, the questions you ask are for a project I am working on.

    Home laptop for development+basic multimedia?
I am looking to buy a decent laptop which I would mostly use for small personal development projects, watching movies and the occasional gaming (I don’t need to play the latest and greatest games). I would prefer something with a 17′ display though I am willing to consider good 15′ laptops as well. Any ideas/suggestions ?

I am currently looking at HP Pavilion DV series, Thinkpads and Toshiba Satellites.

P.S. : My budget is 600-1000 Euros and I live in Netherlands

What are these personal development business opportunities about ?
I have often come across these work from home websites and wonder do any of them yield any realistic success.
The prolonged details seem to steer around outlining exactly what the ‘work’ involves form day to day or month to month and how an income is actually made. They insist on no selling or keeping stock and not being MLM. Can anyone tell me more ?

Some work, some don’t, But you only get out what you put in, You need a site which has a good history and one with good content, you do not want to buy into a site which says do this then does not give you more options if ‘this’ doesn’t work, I use moneylitho.com a site where there is a tonne of different ideas and quick start methods, if you don’t like one or are not sure how to work it there is a training package just for that one topic or move to another topic – and it works -within 24 hours I had made extra money and still do.
