Do R.E.O training seminars help to acquire R.E.O. listings?
I thought about signing up for a seminar. The cost is around $400. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was worth doing these seminars.
People, please understand the question before responding. I am a Realtor, and obviously this was mostly intended for other Realtors who have gone through this training.

Where’s a good place to look for Internet training seminars in Chicago?
I’ve been working in print advertising for the past 10 years. Feel like it’s time to expand horizons and refreshing myself on other forms of media. I’ve had some minimal exposure to internet/online, but would like to learn more.

I’ve been trying to look online for any sort of internet training seminars (focusing on termonology, ad units/sizes, advertising capabilities, how advertising costs are determined) that could be coming though Chicago and haven’t had much success finding anything.

Can anyone recommend somewhere online that might breakdown any seminars that are going on? If anyone has any books they could recommend that would be great as well!

Is it OK to require 2 employees who have never met to share a hotel room during a 2 week training session?
The employees are female and would be working together for a period of time after the training. It might be a good bonding experience, but it also might be uncomfortable for them to share since they have never met each other. This would be a double room and most of their time would be outside of the room in training seminars.

All corporations, businesses of all sizes typically pair individuals, often from different areas of the country. IBM, CocaCola, UPS, Xerox, etc., will schedule training providing the most economic “reservations”. This is an “acceptable” and “expected” practice conducted for years.

Each employee has received a “background check”, and hired on character, professionalism, dedication, etc. Risk is minimal and an understanding between both not to allow others without each present. Insure to keep belongings separate and valuables “locked”.

If circumstances do “create” difficulty, a request to move may be approved. Some may ask to pay the difference if only to have a “single”.

Good Luck, stay positive. Learn from others as well.
