I am trying to write a good Introduction for my assignment but this doesn’t seem to be good enough? (read on) The Task is Search The Internet fro 3 sites that are relevant to your disciplin (Business Management) 2. List the Key words used to find the selected sites 3.List the Search engines used to finde the selected sites
I just need more words added to it really okay this is what I wrote :
1.1 INTRODUCTION This assignment shows evidence of how I can make effective use of Microsoft facilities and the Internet when preparing the documents required. Due to my choice of study being Business Management, I chose the following sites to research:
* Harvard Business School * Business Link * Institute for Professional Development
I have selected these three websites as a relevant topic to management as I find it highly appropriate to our course.
I’ve written a number of instruction manuals and reports for my job. While not a professional writer, I am told I do this very well. When I write an introduction, I treat it as a summary (without the details, general statements) about what I am going to discuss in the body, and why. Conclusions are another summary, but this time about what you learned and how it did or didn’t help you, again without a lot of detail, because you provided all that in the body.
How I read what you wrote above is that you jumped right into the body of your assignment with all the details. There are plenty of writing tips sites on the net, I have referred to a number of them. Unfortunately I don’t save the links or I would send you some. You mention the three websites as being highly appropriate, but you didn’t say how you came to that conclusion. I don’t know how long your assignment is supposed to be, but providing your search parameters, and how you selected them, what came up on the search, and why you chose those sites would create a nice flow to your work.
Really, it looks okay, it’s just that from experience I know that people like to see background information about how you reached that conclusion or made that decision.
Anyone heard of the….? Professional Career Development Institute?? It is an online Institute where you can take online courses and get a Diploma. I was wondering if anyone has every done this and gotten a job after getting your Diploma?
I am sorry to report that I have never heard of the outfit. On your other question about getting a job after completion of the courses my guess is that the school advertising pitch will contain a multitude of comments from past students.
To check out the value of those courses, contact several major employers in your locality and see what their feelings are about the viability of that training as it relates to their business.
Please check my grammar. 10 points. Thank you so much.? Letter of Introduction
