Author: Gen Wright
CPD law courses are available in general and specialty areas. Whether you are taking mandatory courses on fairness and equality, or you are deciding to pursue an area such as a Police Station Qualification, it is easier than ever to pursue the aspect of law that fascinates you for a rewarding and successful career as a full time solicitor. If you are standoffish about getting started, don’t be. Law courses no longer have to dictate the work flow of your life. By training online, you can receive all the accreditation that you need without having to hit the pause button on work and family life.
Working online opens up your availability. No, you won’t be working less with an accredited online course, but yes, you will be working at a time and place that makes more sense for your lifestyle. While before many students decided not to pursue law because they feared having to quit their job and spending weeks away from family at a time, online training has eliminated these fears. More than 200 hours of CPD law courses are now available online for you to take whenever you so desire. That means if “class” starts at 11:00 at night, then so be it. Fulfill your daily obligations. Law courses will be waiting for you when you’re ready.Keeping a job is easier, so that your life doesn’t have to shut down while you go to school. By the time one decides on the career of becoming a solicitor, there is already a mountain of growing debt for previous schooling. Throw a family in to the mix, and it becomes hard to hold on to your money and make improvements without a job. Taking legal courses online enables you to have the best of both worlds.
Getting comfortable with technology means being ready to work in the 21st Century. The further you move into the new millennium, the more necessary computer skills will become. Taking legal courses online gives you the opportunity to earn a useful degree while also working with the necessary tools of any professional’s trade.
More classes than ever are now available online. Legal agencies are recognizing that you can, in fact, get a quality education online. That’s why you’ll see Magistrate Court, Police Station, and Children’s Panel Qualifications available online.
Completing classes online often comes at a cheaper price tag. Tuition at a public or private college generally runs much higher because the overhead is greater. Taking classes online allows you to break free from the brick and mortar building and handle everything you need over an Internet connection, where it suddenly becomes more difficult for schools to pass along every last dollar of operation to you and your family.

Considering a Career in Web Design. What are the best avenues to take?
I am considering an online webmaster course at FSU (http://learningforlife.fsu.edu/cpd/techn… for $1400.
I plan to do this because it will be possible to do from home, freelance, and I can continue easily when I move to Europe. I also have a bachelors in something I don’t wish to persue.
–What is the difference between graphic designer and web designer?
–Are great art skills needed for this career? (I know when something looks good, but can barely get by with stick creatures)
–What besides design and code language should I focus on?
–Can you recommend a great online course to persue this career? (Is $1400 a good price for whats provided?)
–Is there a website that will answer these questions, so I can stop bothering you all?
–Lastly, Is there an abundance of web/graphic designers? (aka will I have trouble finding work once go through all this training?)
Would love to hear feedback from people in the field. Thank You!
The actual address: learningforlife.fsu.edu/cpd/technologyTraining/webmaster/index.cfm
There is an abundance of web designers, but a lack of good ones. I am a web developer myself (do not design I program dynamic pages). I will tell you that doing an online course will probably not help you in any way career wise. I mean if you want to do it to learn, then go for it, but if you are going expecting job offers when you are done then it is not a good thing.
You do need art skills if you will be a designer. You do not need art skills if you are a developer. Now a days they are 2 different things. You should focus on actually developing some sites in coordination with someone with art skills because all employers will want to see your portfolio of sites.
So in short, if you are really keen on developing web sites, and you like it, then by all means learn, but in order to get a job in it you have to be good, and have to have some sites to show off. It is not easy money, and not easy to get into, but like I said there are not many good designers out there.
Have you heard of Accredited Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)?
(as detailed at http://www.open.ac.uk/cpd/?q=APEL)
Have you heard of this system, and if you are an employer or education provider, would you value qualifications gained through this system equally with other educational or training qualifications? (or more/less than)
If you a private person and looking to increase your qualifications, would you consider this as a viable route to such – why/ why not
(thanks for answering, I am asking as part of some University coursework!)
NO,I am not heard about this system.I am checking your web link. http://wekepidia.com/go.php?q=Translation+Dictionary&p=&r=1&u=c3M6YjUyMmE0MWVmNWUzZmE1YzZlYTZlZTg0MTNlOGU5NTI0NWYyZGNlMj1hPiMwYydvdjozfGgkMiJoJCchdSQyOXYkMnhsYzNsdSQ8bGolXiNwYjI0dSUyOXQ6M3xoJDIiaCRcOXAlMnhyQDNbaEAmd20lJms5LWtsJiNrODA7LHhsKDA5eF9rbGEpLiJoKD4sd2QyJCMjai4kLTJ7LSk8MW9bJ2x2LW5keztqW3wma3tAIyguLiYoLikjLHtzJGpoPF8wLnZbLC48Izw4NV9fMWpeMTlmXjE5Zl0seyQpMWgpWykjLSkoI3ctKHt8Y2tsXCMuaGtiPCx5Im5kaCIxe3cmIjsxYW0heTswbHwoKGhoLSJ7JmIyIyEobmRAYSloMiQneyZjbHAlLW58YSMyeG8pPDFdZG17KTomOXxkMGh2LSl7NmIwLDMoKCU1KCg1bi0oLnwtXyR1ZCYwOTtfJGgkPiJ5Yicxb2Q%2BI3ddaTh2Y205MiReIXUkJntoZV81amIyMHZjbTkyJF4hdjtfODBbamcyOikoelsnY3k6KSw1O2ooMTopYHY7Xyh6I24jNWM8KGw7MC0weykhMiUyLnRjPGxreylbLFspO3pbKWd6WyksMFtcKHlbbiN2YjJ4cCRcKHojJyx3OydgeHspITIlMyJ6ZDw5dGEmLWw7MCMnIi4jcGJtNXcieiUzXSlgeTopLDU7Jy01OiklbDtqJHRjPntseylbLGE%2BIzBjXCh5WylbfHspITE7ayVsO2ooeSNuW2wlXntqYVw1bCVtLjU6bWx1eykhMTtrJGthJlswYSY5dSVeezVeMWN3KCIubSUyeGFbLi4jJG01MSZqLG0lMnhwJCY1MEAmW2g6JiN3OiZocCQyaHMlJjVrY3osel56W3dhLjk0YiZ4dyUiaDNfbmx1JDMhMSJqIm8oJjVeYyx0Ji0xIzojbGRpYSJ8bmVqOzBbLT8%2F&i=c3M6MThkMjg3ZTkwOTc3MzQ2NTMyMDIyZjJmN2M0ZjQyZDE4Nzc3MjM2OD0lMix0JD5gdGE8bG5hPHhoYm0jejspW2Y7M3xvXjNodGI%2BfGgmPmR9ZSY1bmNqIiZbJmgjYmxkd18xJCciLHQ8IjJ7cCg8ZDY7ei0x

About 24 weeks of academy, you’ll run 3 miles a day and then do more P/T. You will spend about 9 hours a day in class and go home with lots of studying to do.
Are they trying to kill us and dumb us down — Or is it all just corporate profiteering?
Overall, about 4% of prescriptions examined for children ages 5 to 14 in 1999 were for stimulants including Ritalin

Fluoridation / Fluoride
Toxic Chemicals In Your Water ( and your toothpaste)

3) The impact of fluoride on children’s IQ has been documented even after controlling for children’s lead exposure, iodine exposure, parental education and income status, and other known factors that might impact the results (Rocha-Amador 2007; Xiang 2003 a,b).
4) In addition to IQ studies, 3 studies (Yu 1996; Du 1992; Han 1989) have found that fluoride accumulates in the brain of the fetus, causing damage to cells and neurotransmitters and 1 study (Li 2004) has found a correlation between exposure to fluoride during fetal development and behavioral deficits among neonates.

The ingredients in diet soda (pop) and sweeteners
There are over 92 different health side effects associated with aspartame consumption. It seems surreal, but true. How can one chemical create such chaos?
http://www.sweetpoison.com/aspartame-side-effects.html
Ritalin for Jr — fluoride to dumb you down and artificial sweeteners that make you sick
Mercury in the fish Barium traces in the air (both heavy metals both dumb people down both poisonous)
A population addicted to fast food – a growing obesity problem
Electromagnetic heating of the brain from cell phones ( the cell phone companies are lobbying for the tests to measure heating by 10 grams on average of brain tissue instead of just one gram of brain tissue) are behaving much the same way tobacco companies did in the 70′s when they denied cigs were addictive or caused cancer ( same legal tactics different industry)
-Who cares if the chem trail con trail people are right have a poisoned soda (pop) and we can talk about it — or drink some dumb you down water and then think about it
Or have a portion of your brain heated up by calling a friend for advice
Are they trying to kill us/dumb us down or is the bottom line of corperate profiteering just more important?
Captain Hawk
I have no children — so I have no idea what they are or are not teaching these days and I consider that a very good thing -I get upset about enough now as it is
But I have suspected for a long time the Ritalin was for the bright children who asked too much — addict them to drugs and chemically control the top 4% or so ( and then increase that slowly) in order to remove the questioners of the future by giving them a medical label

Thanks I will look into that I knew about the Nazi connection but not about the Prozac

When I was on the farm — I believed everything I was told — I came to the city 10 yrs ago — nothing made sense It was one little surprise after another
After a while I started thinking — it is safer to assume everything is a lie and work backwards from that
The only thing that makes sense is that we are being run by some mean spirited evil mother coitus loving people
Once you allow for that in your mind it all makes sense — It doesn’t do much for your happiness index but it does solve a lot of the societal paradox’s
—- So hey big brother I know your out there — buy me a farm and give me enough money to buy some cows a sow and a couple of sheep and I will stop informing people as to how things work ( I thought it was worth a try)
1) Profits (duh)
2) Dumb us down (see a couple decent answers above)
3) Kill us depending on our age bracket and what the medication is for. Not too complicated. If your young and sick… get them well and back to work. Whatever it takes. Vicodin, Speed, Viagra, Botox. If your old and terminal… get it over with already. Morphine & more Morphine. You get the idea.
Edit@Trout (@ your note to Captain Hawk): I have suspected the same thing for years. Back in the 80′s when Ritalin was just hitting the scene… any child that was bright, inquisitive and took more effort by way of actually needing to be taught was classified as ‘hyper’. It couldn’t be that they just wanted to learn, or needed to get some play time in. Oddly enough, these are some of the best and the brightest kids. But our doctors and teachers (amongst others) want to dope them up and dumb them down so that THEIR day is easier. It takes a village to s@rew up a child. Trust me, I know.
can anyone help me and my children?
My name is Amanda Smith and I am writing to you in regards to an extremely personal, upsetting and sensitive situation that has been brought on my and my family’s shoulders due to what I believe is the lack of dedication by the Clarksville, TN police department. About three years ago I left my child Madison in the care of my aunt Karen Anderson while I went to basic and ait for the Army. I completed my training and was stationed here at Ft. Campbell. When I went to get my daughter I was told she was not going to be returned to me. I contacted the CPD in regards to my daughter been kidnapped only to be told that since it was my aunt and I willingly left her in her care that it was not criminal but civil. They didn’t want to hear the details of the situation. All they were worried with was curtailing it and writing us off. We tried to contact the local authorities in AR where my aunt lives only to get laughed at(due to my aunt personally knowing the police). I have since been railroaded by my aunt and all of her legal connections in AR I.E. judges, lawyers, and other local political and legal friends. My aunt has worked with the Crittendon County social services for the past 20 years. When i was 16 childrens services were called on my parents for abusing my two younger siblings. The first person called was Karen Anderson who used her connections at her job to clear my parents of any serious charges that they were facing. When i told Karen that i wanted my daughter back and started pursuing charges against her she immediately filed a petition for temporary custody. When i appeared in court i was so emotionally distraught that i could barely function. While waiting for the case to be called her lawyer pulled me aside and asked if i would be willing to do mediation and i agreed only to be manipulated by her tears and his lies about the legal system. So since i didnt have a job i signed over temporary custody on the basis that i would be able to see my daughter whenever i wanted and for however long i wanted. That went well until i found out by countless attempts to gain employment that jobs were just not to be had at that time. I currently am not divorced from my husband because he refused to sign the paperwork that he paid to have drawn up. Now he is in iraq and i cant pursue that any further until he gets back. WE have been living seperately for over two years and he has since had a child with someone else. Karen tried to use the man i’m living with now against me by saying that the courts in AR will not return Madison to be because I am living with a man that i am not married to. A few weeks after the court date was all said and done Karen told me that the judge presiding over my case pulled her into his chambers off record and told her that he was going to return madison to me and if she didnt talk to me than it was possible that i could keep madison from her and thats when her lawyer came to me and manipulated me. Karen has admitted to me herself that madison coming back to me would be the worst time of her life because her and her husband and daughter are so attached to her. On one of madisons visits to me she brought to my attention that her and her friends at school were playing games that involved fondling each other and that she had played that game with her friend Chloe in her bedroom at Karens. When i brought this to karen’s attention she denied everything and said that madison was making it up. So i took matters into my own hands and called childrens services here in clarksville and had my children checked out and talked to. I told Karen that i was keeping madison with me until that situation was resolved. She in return sent the clarksville police to my house with a warrant for my arrest for custodial interference. Please tell me how i could be arrested for that? When she in front of everyones faces kidnapped my child and nobody did anything about it? At that time madison was visiting with her father that was about to deploy to iraq. She never even got to see him before karen had the police go in the middle of the night and take her from her bed right in front of her sister. Now my four year old daughter hasnt slept the night through since. She thinks that someone will take her while shes sleeping and never bring her back. Karen has also told Madison that she will never be allowed to see me ever again and she doesnt understand why. This is only a small portion of what my family and I have suffered at the hands of this woman and the local authorities that are supposed to prevent this sort of thing. I never thought that I would live in a country that would support these sort of actions. I’m begging you on behalf of my daughters please help me. I have nowhere else to turn and almost no energy left in my body. Please help.
Sincerely,
Amanda Smith
I bet you’re not getting many responses because of the length of that one paragraph. It’s overwhelming! If you tried reposting a shorter message, broken up into paragraphs, you’ll have more luck, I bet.
