For this is the whole obligation of man." This doesn't mean to fear God the same way that you would fear a wild animal or a violent person, but to fear displeasing him like a child fears displeasing his parents. Since we were created by God, it only makes sense that the purpose of life would be spiritual. Many have expressed that even having a higher education, money, possessions, and a family, cannot fill the void that they feel. However, those who understand the Bible and apply what it teaches have said that they feel full and that their life has meaning and purpose. The only way to acknowledge God is by reading and systematically studying the letter that he wrote to us - the Bible. We can learn what he loves and what he hates. We can also find satisfying, logical answers to the questions that torment most people, such as Why are we allowed to suffer? Will things go on this way forever? What really happens to us when we die? Is there any hope for our dead loved ones? What is the Kingdom of God? Does God cause our problems? Are God and Jesus Christ the same? Where is mankind and earth itself headed? How can I live a life that is pleasing to God? Do all religions lead to the same place, or is there only one true religion? How can we have a happier family life? The Bible answers all of these questions, but it can seem intimidating trying to find the answers in such a big book. Some have expressed that they want to study the Bible, but the book is so big and studying it just seems too daunting a task. It can be compared to having instructions to find a very valuable treasure, but the instructions are written in a language that you have little understanding of. With no one to guide them, some have given up and decided to just allow religious leaders to tell them what their understanding of spiritual things is without using the Bible. However, persons who do so have expressed that they still don't understand the Bible and the only answers they have received is that God and his ways are a mystery. It is important for each person to study the Bible for himself. Sure, it will take effort and time, but it is not as hard as people think. One Bible aid that I have enjoyed is a book called What Does the Bible Really Teach? It does not replace the Bible at all, but breaks down the Bible in a topical format and directs you to your own Bible. For example, the first chapter is What is the Truth About God? so it will only discuss scriptures that have a bearing on that subject. You can actually read this book online for free at http://www.watchtower.org/e/bh/article_00.htm

Ecclesiastes 12:13 makes it clear that the purpose of life is for humans to “fear the true God and keep his commandments. I've just come out of a relationship with a woman almost 10 years older than me. I'm 19, she's 28. The split was inevitable but she's behaving like we were never together. There have been several incidents in which she has shown that she no longer cares for me. I have started having anxiety attacks (panick attacks) and am also depressed. I worry constantly. My GP told me to come back and see him on Monday. Can anybody tell me if they've found themselves in a similar situation and what I can do to help myself? Thank you.

Anxiety/Panic Attacks.?
I’ve just come out of a relationship with a woman almost 10 years older than me. I have been having panic attacks for the last ten years of my life. Its pure hell sometimes. Sometimes I get as many as 25 a day and they can last for hours. Sometimes I'm surprised that not only can I function normally but I actually excel at work and school. My question is, is there any natural way to stop panic attacks? It would be wonderful if I didn't have to deal with these every day and I could use some relief.

what is a good way to stop panic attacks?
I have been having panic attacks for the last ten years of my life. I should say the same thing to my family in christ, but at least they think about just making it into heaven. But how do you find joy in the world, that may not be there when you wake up. Either death will destroy you, or it just brakes or you go poor, or your family. How do you find life, when you are dying? Everything is meaningless.

how do you as a atheist find purpose in a life that is dying?
I should say the same thing to my family in christ, but at least they think about just making it into heaven. I own a 1992 Nissan Sentra XE, automatic transmission, 1.6L 4 cylinder. I have had her for a little over three years now. She is shaking real bad when she is started and when I am stopped at lights or stop signs. She also has a hard time shifting it seems like and she has a hard time going after she has been stopped. Sometimes she stalls as soon as my foot touches the pedal. And I do not slam down on the pedal. If I had to guess I would say transmission but I am not sure. She has been doing this for at least 6 months and I have tried numerous things to see what it is. I will be honest, in the fact that I have not always been able to have the oil changed when I should have had it done but between that and paying rent, I need some where to live. I have had the spark plugs and wires changed, my tires checked and they are rotated and balanced on a regular bases (I get it done for free through Discount Tire), and a new fuel filter. I do not have an owners manual for my care but have looked online for any information that I could find. My grandmother thinks that it might be a motor mount. I agree that that could be a possibility but what about her stalling when I try to get going after stopping. And that doesn't have anything to do with her stalling. She also gets shaky around 45-50 mph and stops at about 60mph. Also if anyone knows when the mileage reader turnsover on a 92 Nissan Sentra that would be great. You see when I bought her she had 12K which I know isn't right so I am trying to estimate what her approximate mileage is. If the mileage gauge turns over at 100K, 200K, or etc.? Thank you to anybody who helps to answer this question!!

My car shakes when started and when stopped and sometimes she does stall!?
I own a 1992 Nissan Sentra XE, automatic transmission, 1.6L 4 cylinder. The problem usually is as in my case that I have so much pinned up worry or stress that the body only has one way to release it and that is through these attacks. Sadly enough, now since I have dealt with these for so long, I now am developing some OCD disorders. I see a therapist on a regular basis and take meds for the attacks when they occur. You must find a therapist you like, trust, and one who is willing to listen, really listen to you and not just give you a bunch of meds and rush you out the door. Here is one site to go too.... http://istaycalm.com/panic-attack-treatment/how-to-stop-panic-attacks/ Here is another.... http://nlppati.com/articles/end-panic-attacks.shtmlI have found what helps me most is exercising. I just start walking or walking on my treadmill or ride a stationary bike. I also try to get my mind focused on something else. All does not work all the time and some times I just have to ride the panic attack train until it stops. God bless and I pray you find some help and relief in some way! I understand, really I do and it is ROUGH!

I have been struggling with anxiety/panic attacks for years. I had a friend who was terminated because of performance. Six months in the job without making plan. He was told by management that they had to cut three people. So they fired the bottom three performers. The question I have was when these individuals were fired. So here are the questions I have:1. Should these indivduals been put on PIP. Personal improvement plan. At least given some type of warning before termination? Showing continued poor performance. 2. No exit interview or signed documentation on release/termination. 3. At Will Employee..what is the definition?Does this company have just cause to terminate these individuals. And were the proper steps taken leading to termination and is there documentation that must be signed at the exit of the employee. And if the company has an "at will policy"...Does that truly mean at will with zero legalities?

At Will EMployment…Any Legatlities?
I had a friend who was terminated because of performance.
