Dealing with rejection and building your confidence as a sales person or home business owner
I am often asked how to deal with closed minded individuals and potential customers who are just nasty to deal with when approached. I’m not talking about someone saying no. I am talking about Nasty. Bottom line up front, it just part of sales and this one is totally mental. Do not let rejection from a closed minded individual discourage the growth of your business. When I started my first home business, I was full of vinegar and ready to promote the program like a champion. I was prepared to promote the business like no one had ever promoted it before. After I spoke with a few acquaintances and made a couple of phone calls, I soon realized not everyone believed in the system as much as I did. Not only that, but some of my contacts were reluctant to talk about it at all. So, I pressed on. Press on, there will be more. There will be many, many more individuals interested in your opportunity or products. Just don’t let the few ruin what the masses hold in true market potential.
If you are new to outside sales, internet marketing, MLM, or network marketing, you will face rejection. It is part of the business and you have to understand it is OK. It is ok because after you understand that most potential prospects have been approached before, failed in a similar opportunity or are just closed minded. Rejection is tough. Our human nature doesn’t like to be rejected. If you have not made up your mind that your business is part of who you are now, go look in the mirror. Let me say that again. Your business is part of who you are. Don’t let anyone discourage you from pressing on.

What do you do to build your confidence?
I’m a little on the short side for self-confidence, and I need something to give me more of it. Share with me what you do to build your confidence so that way I too can be confident. Thank you
I know standing up straight helps. Also, try not to be so negative and instead of pointing out the flaws, try to find something nice to say about yourself. And remember we are all beautiful:)
does failure really can build your confidence?
hi, I just wanted your opinion does failure really can build confidence to myself?
it does both – it breaks and makes you. If you choose to, it can make you better and stronger
building your confidence?
Does anyone know of any good ways to build your confidence?
I used to have very low self confidence and self esteem. I was able to develop confidence in myself and a higher self esteem by setting small goals for myself. Just small attainable goals that gradually worked their way up to larger goals. Through time of reaching these goals I slowly started to gain confidence in myself and my self esteem gradually picked up with it seeing that I now had confidence in myself.
Confidence- How did you build your confidence, Opinions needed?
not looking for any websites/sources.
Need opinions, im fairly confident but not as confident as i would like to be.
What improves your confidence?
How did you build your confidence, to what it is now?
dont need to answer the questions above, anything linked to confidence and how you got there/what works for you would be helpful enough.
thank you for viewing.
firstly what are you not confident with??
Women?? Looks? or just general everyday talking to people confidence…
Write down all the things you like about yourself..and things that you dont… Cut them into like little bubbles and stick the positives up where you will see them every day e.g your mirror…
And with the negatives… look and think about them closely, think of how to change them and 1 by 1…. chop them up and throw away…
I know it sounds stupid but it has helped people i know…
And just learn to like and love yourself….
Good Luck ; )
