Can anyone tell me where I can find the best Personal Development courses/ programmes/ books, etc?
I’m at a point where I need to take some serious steps towards getting my life to that next level. Not really looking for a guru, just looking for a system that works or at least have proven results. Any information on this would be much appreciated!
List of good material that I know of:
Feel the fear and do it anyway by Susan Jeffers
The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz
the 7 habits of successful people by Steven Covey
Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman
Influence by Robert Cialdini
How to make friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie
I know more, but they are geared towards certain things. It would depend more on what you want the material for.
If you want to know more, post up another question or email me.
Hope this helps
Is this the best site/blog to get recommendations on personal development books/ courses/ programmes, etc ?
All suggestions welcome!

Books – Can you really make money from writing books?
In this day and age, information is infinite! Research shows that their are over 65 Million books in the world!! I’m under 20 and have very little knowledge on book sales/getting your book published. So if I was to write say an average non-fiction book on personal development for Gen Y, can I expect to make any money out of it. And if so, how does that work.
Judging from the growing number of people that ask here just where they can download free books…
No
is it possible to write an ebook based on notes from other books?
Ok so for the past 5 years I’ve been reading personal development books,
From financial, spiritual and social to relationships and more.
While reading this books I’ve been taking notes. I currently have about 4 notebooks full of notes that I’ve taking while reading my books. Is it possible to write a book or ebook based on this notes? How can I do this legally?
You can’t really. It would be plagurism which would infringe on copyright. You could refernce the source from where you took your notes, but as that is all you have (notes from other books), it wouldn’t really be a book. Just a bibliography.
