Positive attitude can do wonders. It can make possible what is seemingly impossible for the others. There is an intimate link between success & positive attitude.     How can I have a more positive attitude going into a class I expect to dislike?
    I’m taking honors physics this year even though science classes are always the most difficult for me. I have this ongoing sense of dread about the class, and I’m afraid that attitude is going to make the class even harder for me.

    How can I change my attitude to be more positive?

      Physics honors is a tough one. What is the compulsion to take it if it is not to your liking?
      First banish the thought that you expect to dislike it. Otherwise, the fear is likely to become true, which will furtherreinforce this negative mode.

      It is difficult for one to to advise another, ‘Like Physics.’

      Having said taht Physics is gruelling ; but fascinating.

      Involves quite a bit of mathematics if it is an honours course.

      Finally, it is your call.

    I am working in corporate field. I think a positive attitude from the employees can not only help to have a great organizational environment but also lead to the personal development of the members.

      We have done some Olympic competition at my company. It can be something as small as carrying a fireball in a spoon down the hall. Or the miniature basketball shoot-out. Hula-hoop Hoop competition. You get a change to laugh at each other and it provides a chance for office stories for months to come.

      If you can and you (your company) can support it, we had some great experiences doing out of the office charity work two or three days a year. We did a United Way day of caring and Habitat for Humanity. It was fun to take a bunch of accountants and put them to work spackeling, painting, and mixing concrete.

    Dont get me wrong, i like my job but I work long shifts, about 6-9 hours and I work as a cashier. I often get bored or find time moves really slow. How can I keep up a positive attitude and physical and mental awareness during long shifts at work?

      Understandable, but about the attitude, even with the not so nice customers never get rude back. You can be assertive but polite. Treat the customers as you want to be treated when you go into a shop on your days off.

      You need the best way to relax for you. You need sufficient sleep and a healthy lifestyle with energy boosting nutrients.. (vegetables, fruit, fibre, proteine). Ensure you get a good sleep. Try taking a leisurely walk before bedtime, a hot bath, relaxing music, make sure your room is dark. During your free time sports can help you to get rid of stress. If you feel you are frustrated at times, then kickboxing is a good way to get rid of frustration and it’s a really good cardio workout and you burn lots of calories. Above all, socialize in your free time and do something fun with friends. Laughing and having fun reduces stress a lot.
